Medebir is a cloud-based Shop Management System built for Ethiopian retail businesses. The platform provides tools including inventory management, point-of-sale, expense tracking, team management, and business analytics.
Supported business types:
Each team member must log in with their own registered phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
The platform enforces role-based access: Owners have full control; Managers manage inventory and sales; Salespersons can scan, sell, and view their own branch data only. A salesperson assigned to Branch A cannot access Branch B data.
After the free trial period, continued access requires payment of the applicable subscription fee. Fees are due in advance and are non-refundable once the subscription period has commenced, except as required by applicable Ethiopian law.
Medebir reserves the right to update pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Non-payment may result in service suspension until outstanding amounts are settled.
You agree NOT to use the platform to:
The Medebir platform, its software, design, trademarks, and all associated intellectual property are owned exclusively by Rira-Technologies. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the platform or its technology.
You retain full ownership of all business data you upload. Medebir receives only a limited license to store and process your data in order to deliver the service.
The platform is provided "as is". Medebir makes reasonable efforts to maintain availability but does not guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by Ethiopian law, Medebir's total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting Medebir support. We may suspend or terminate your account with 14 days' notice, or immediately in cases of material breach or fraud.
Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your data before it is removed from our systems, subject to any legal retention requirements.
